Another very encouraging sermon from Romans 12 about how Christians are to relate to one another. Practical Christianity. This sermon is the beginning of a series built off the previous lesson on how to deal with Self-Righteousness. Practical Christianity can only work when Christians deal properly with their relation to God, to the love of Christ and to ourselves, then we will be filled with God’s love for our fellow believers in a right way. My pastor preached on the Fear of God this sunday. His message really impacted me and I wanted to share it with everyone. I was even speaking to people on the streets of York today about this subject. May the Lord increase our fear of Him!

Evangelism is commanded by Christ (cf the last chapter of Matthew, Mark and Luke), is motivated by godly fear and love (cf 2 Corinthians 5:11 & 14), and is done through prayer and by God’s Spirit (Eph 6:18-19). With that said, I am posting an example from a recent encounter I had with someone named Nelson on the street in W. Philly. The audio is 18 min. long, and is just one out of many conversations that I had that day. This is by no means the perfect example of evangelism, but I hope it provides some motivation for some to get out, pray and go… and God bless!
